THE OAT & OAK RETREAT

Custom floor-to-ceiling beige built-in cabinets at 520 Jurong West St 52, featuring wooden display shelves, an open niche with red decor, and a long wooden window bench next to horizontal blinds.

The second you turn the key and step into 520 Jurong West, sunlight streams through timber Venetian blinds, painting warm, rhythmic stripes across smooth cream floors and soft greige walls. The colour story rejects cold, clinical whites in favour of cosy, sun-baked neutrals. A hue hierarchy specifically tailored to restore balance for city dwellers after a long day.
Your gaze travels smoothly along the living area’s architectural curves. A delicate, softly arched portal that frames a cosy window daybed, and a fluid, back-lit feature wall that wraps around the media display like a protective shell. There are no harsh angles or rigid lines to startle the eye. Only organic forms that make the open layout feel expansively airy, yet deeply cocooning.

Every corner invites you to slow down and sink into daily rituals. You can kick off your shoes and melt into the ribbed-fabric sofa, enjoying the quiet interplay between the handless cabinetry that eases your eyes towards the marble-veined kitchen counters in the backdrop. When night falls, rich walnut tones and Shoji-inspired framed glass doors wrap you in ambient lighting designed to turn every evening into a private, hotel-like retreat.
